I heard of this project, I am a skeptic person
so i think the amazingfacts team should make it clear that this documentary or movie is but a mere illustration about the fall.
Cause the credibility isnt much when you see there are also white and black angels. Not to be discouraging but people will surely look and wonder
about some things that has been done in the video.

What do you mean the credibility isn't much when there is black and white angels? I think that this is a great idea to produce this documentary. As time was first they use to pass these stories down through spoken language, technology increased and they began to write them down. Now technology has once more increased and now we can illustrate these stories to a new generation. I thank God for this and I know it will bring many back home and save many from Babylon.

With all that is occuring in the world right now, I believe that we have finally rounded the corner, and as we look down the long and narrow road, so rocky, and filled with peril and danger, that we must finish our journey on, we finally can see the Glorius lights of Home awaiting our arrival. If it isn't going to be released this spring, please don't set a date until you are sure what date because I feel discouraged now that is says summer, will it say fall next. I wish AF would just not say that and wait til they are sure. There isn't much for a christian to view in this world on a tv. The release date should not matter. We all need to continue to study God's word and when the video comes out it will just add to our experience with God. God is a patient and long suffering God , so should we be patient with this project. Things happen the time they should. Amazing Facts this is GREAT we have our TRUE to life star wars series. I think the laser type swords shouldn't have been added to the celestial battles, other than that it looks promising.

commenting on the laser swords their okay but i think they would be better if the flow of the animation would be different around the swords.

actually i would imagine angels to be fighting with tremoundes velocity like the bible says ministering spirits or lightning. I could imagine fire sparkling around the swords or even around them when in battle.
the bible does also says that in eden he placed cherubim with a sword which fires comes from every side wow that must have been powerfull.
I hope that comes into life in the parts of eden.

Great! The Word is what I focus on in the video, not the pictures. As the bible says, "Eye hath not seen, nor ear has heard".... The truth will set us free, not mans ideas or vague picture of what heaven is like, etc. This message made me renew my commitment to the Lord.

I think that this will be a great project to get people talking about the great controversy. I do not object to the production using humans to play angels. We do not actually have a picture of an angel in its regular form. We know from scripture that they often took human form. Don't let this get in the way of the storyline. This is our way of relating to what transpired in heaven that led to the fall of Lucifer and a full third of the angels as free moral agents. I'm more concerned as to rather or not the plot lines up with all that's been revealed on the origin of sin in the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. Knowing Amazing Facts track record...I'd be surprised if it did not. Those guys tend to stick strickly with the biblical record.

I can be patient just as the next person is. I just think they should not set a date until it is ready for sure. One thing I'd like to see, is Jesus with white hair, just as John sees and Ellen White said His hair is white like wool and lays on His shoulders. I would like to see Jesus that way at the end of the Controversy when Adam and the Saints are with Christ. I know His hair was brown on this earth but when the documentary gets into the scenes of heaven, I'd sure love to see Jesus' white beautiful hair. I wish also they would use the King James Version Bible instead of the New Version. I know a lot of Baptist among others that do not want scripture written from any other Bible. It makes them not want to watch the documentaries. I know on the Final Events of Bible Prophecy the New Version was used and it would have been better had the Old Version been used. Why change something that is fine the first time. That is what I think about the Old King James Bible. In the documentary I also hope the serpent will have wings and fly through the air. I believe what Ellen White said. It flew and had the appearance of burnished gold. I have seen the pictures, there are no wings so I hope wings will be added somehow with computer animation. Not trying to be a critic but I just believe in truth and we have been deceived for so long before we read the words of Ellen G. White. We would not have needed her writings had we a close understanding of the Bible but I am glad I have the Great Controversy and the Desire of Ages too. She made up for where I lacked in understanding.

Amazing Facts study guides also helped me when a man named Glen came to our door. We studied for years, one day a week. Sometimes he did not get to come by but when he did I was very glad to see him and join in the study. A long with Amazing Facts study guides and other study guides, Glen helped us to see where we were deceived about Hell, Forever, the Sabbath, the mark of the beast. I began to believe the sabbath was saturday a long time ago but was never sure so I began to think maybe a person shouldn't work on Saturday and Sunday both to be sure. I am not longer unsure about what day the Sabbath is because of Glen. He passed away on January 14 of this year, he would have been 83 in Feb. His heart felled him after a car accident he was in. He lost his grandson the month before and his son was hurt in an automobile accident. Glen was a good man, a vegan who loved gardening and nature. If not for him I'd never known the truth. I am glad God chose such a man to bring me the truth. If you go to heaven then you will have the opportunity to meet him and you will be glad you did. Very remarkable and humble man. You could see Christ in him. He was an SDA man and loved the Lord with all his heart and mind. I will be patient about the DVD but I will be glad when it is finally out. I understand it is hard work to do such of a documentary and appreciate all Amazing Facts efforts and hope it will be a great success in saving souls.

I am excited about this but at the same time worried. You can't truly illustrate the "Cosmic Conflict" in a film. The only reason I would support this is because I am a tech junkie. Other than that I think the Bible is the best resource for this and the Conflict of the Ages books. The film will miss so many points that need to be known because of the cost of a project like this but God is able and will provide if it is what He wants. I will pray for this endeavor and hope you can put out enough episodes each year to hold interest.These will make great holiday gifts. :)

Do you really think angels used swords to fight a battle? Would God allow his angels to engage in physical battle with lucifer?

I imagine a standoff. a war of words and and force fields. Lucifer was restricted from doing certain things in heaven.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Gen 3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Note: It did not say that the angels held the sword. The sword turned in every direction suggested that it was not under the angels control.

Why would God have swords in heaven? What was there to protect or fight against? Wasn't it all peace and love before the fall of Lucifer?

Good question, but since God is all knowing wouldn't God prepare for this great war? Considering he created the universe in 6 days, i'm sure creating swords were not difficult.

I have often wondered why AMAZING FACTS, blessed with such truth had not made a visual format for the world to view so the BIG PICTURE of Gods TRUTH could be absorbed. If anyone could raise the money....you people could. We have sat back and watched Mel Gibson and many others, with less incite, put their spin on things.....I just hope that it is 100% SOP and BIBLE facts with no misguided dillution.

OK. If your going to do this thing right.....are you going to put baby dinosaurs on Noah's Ark? After all, we know they excisted with man, not the evolutionary theory of excisting millions of years before mankind. We have all these bones as evidence. The Godhead is the only ones that can create therefore we know they are HIS. Job tells us of the behamouth who is "Cheif" of all the animals. He had a tail the size of a cedar tree! That's not an elephant or a hipo! More like the large, veggie eaten dinosaurs that weighed tons and that we have found bones of all over the world. Cryptozoology believe there are still some alive today.

These are magnificent beings so I dont understand why COLOR needs to be an issue. If anything, I think that the different races of angels in the dvd would make the project more appealing to everyone. The documentary hasn't even come out and the critics are already in full force. I'll just pray for you all at AF since this video will be a most potent weapon in spiritual warfare.

I am glad if there are black men and white men playing angels. We are different people in this world and it appeals to everyone. God foresaw the future. He knew Lucifer would lift himself up because of his beauty and become jealous of Jesus. I am supposing that God prepared swords for His angles knowing there would be war in heaven. He foresaw it all. If you knew something was going to happen, wouldn't you prepare for it if you could? God being who He is, probably spoke and swords appeared easily. Genesis: Let there be light and light appeared. I'm sure God equipped the angels with what they needed. Flaming swords with God's power. I doubt He gave just any angel a sword, because He knew His true angels and God helped them prevail. Michael and His angels prevailed and Satan and his angels were cast out of heaven to this earth.

Patience is a virtue. Christ's return couldn't come soon enough either! I am thankful for each moment of life that God gives me, so until the release--- I will smell the flowers, walk on sandy beaches and enjoy the sunset as I thank the Lord for the many blessings He bestows on me.

As for my thought on this effort, I am delighted that an effort is being made to use our latest technology for themes that are uplifting and that point us to God. It is so sad that the media (from iPods to the Internet) has had a hugely negative impact on the morality of our youth and society. I'm glad that, although it may not be "precisely" historically accurate that angels wear any particular color robe or fight with sword-like lightsabers in this series, at least we're getting the message out that there is hope for us in Christ.

If society can spend billions to watch Jedis using "the force" or a man dressed like a bat being a hero, then I'm sure we can use at least some imagination with the attire the angels wear in this documentary.

Commenting about the swords issue,
When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of eden, and we must also know
that this garden is not called by a name we say the garden of eden but the bible says God planted a garden at the east of eden, so eden must have been that whole place OR this planet was called EDEN i dont know.
But anyways they were also later put out of eden and God placed cherubims,
plural so there must be more cherubims beside lucifer and gabriel. And the bible says God put a flaming Sword thats goes each direction. Here we get the first time in the bible the word SWORD and it was God who placed that sword.
What we must understand is that angels are of a different kind made.
if you read the book of ezekiel where it tells you the cherubims have four faces, you also read that the wheels have eyes in them, the wheels even cry holy holy holy, if lucifer was made of precious stones he problably wasnt only made this way, he could have been the most beautifull one but others surely did also have celestial bodies made out of precious stones.
Angels are like lightning the bible tells you: Spirits and of all we are being told this is not even the whole picture yet.
They could have also wrestled with their wings and hands.
I dont think God provided weapons for all of them knowing that lucifer would one day sin, this is rediculous, who is going to prepare for war and create such a powerfull being
I believe they are and were mighty created. And I do believe they do have kind of powers. We will one day also have some kinds of power and we will surely learn how atoms and those things are created and the secrets of the universe we wills surely and study and be wise.
read the last part of the book the Adventist Home by ellen white it tells you that we wont plant flowers the way we do now, she saw light brightning arround our heads while in the process so allot awaits us.

It may throw the Bible into the realms of fiction, for many.

Be honest... if we are going to make a movie, it has to be on par, or better, than what Hollywood is putting out, or else it's just corny. I'm talking story angles, concepts, costumes... it needs to be relevant to this age.

Light saber effects? Are we serious?...

The post millennium movie going experience is all about realism... not bright colors and light sabers. It is a wonderful concept, but I'm not sure enough research was done.

I hope, sincerely hope, that this doesn't damage the ministry too much.

Let us pray for the Amazing Facts Team every day, in our morning and evening worship. The truth is, some of us do not yet possess Holy boldness to carry the present truth for our time. But instead of praying for boldness to take this message to a dying world, we are allowing ourselves to be used by the enemy of our soul. We do not truely know what angels fought with but we shouldn't give too much consideration if they used swords. God may have given them swords to fight with for all we know. It doesn't mean angels had them to begin with. They could have been given them at the appropriate time. As for angels being made with stones. The bible says in Ezekiel 28 verse 13 speaking of Lucifer. Every precious stone was thy covering. A covering is not what angels are made of but stones are their covering or what they wear over their white robes. Angels having four faces may be symbolic and wheels crying holy, holy, holy may be something that is symbolic also. If the angels have color cloth on when fighting can't people use their imagination and just assume that they are wearing heaven's war gear. Here in this world our soldiers are wearing a special kind of gear to fight wars. Can't we assume that angels may have had something special on to fight a holy war. To stand for the King of heaven shouldn't they be able to wear something that lets the holy angels know who is on the good side. Satan deceived one third of heaven's angels to be on his side. Maybe God gave His holy good angels a special covering to fight that the deceived angels could not wear. Use your imagination at least.

I think angels are the color of amber (fossilized tree resin). Amber is either brownish redish or yellowish. So I also think it is okay to have black(brown) angels especially if you have white angels. Thanks for being open minded better yet honest.

I just learned about this movie and am very excited to see it, thank you so much pastor Doug for all you have done for me to help me know the truth. I have become a new person, I never realized that once I heard the truth it would be so amazing. as to change my entire "perspective" of the world around me. I can hardly watch anything on TV anymore or watch people around me, without wondering in awe as how people can keep living this way without the word of God in their lives. I am dumbfounded by it, and pray constantly that their ears are opened to the word of GOD, in the name of JESUS THE CHRIST...Amen

It should be noted that the Bible gives an account of angels using swords of fire. Let's go back to the book of Genesis.

Regarding the color of angels, does this matter? Here's something to think about: If Jesus created all kinds of variations in our natural world (plants, animals, people--all kinds of shapes, sizes, colors and other attributes), why would He not create variations in angels?

The Lord's ministry Amazing Facts is not slack concerning promises for the LORD, as some men and women count slackness. For yet a little while, the release Date that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow the watching of this DVD all the days of our sinful life: and we will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

I like the idea of presenting these ideas in a new way. But it's too bad that the project is Billed as a "documentary" as that will likely only invite scorn from those who will recognize that this is not a documentary, but rather a dramatization of set of beliefs drawn from the Bible.

Put another way - what would you or I say if a program claiming the existance of 'Aliens' was presented as a "documentary"? Likely we would scoff. You can't 'document' something that can't be proved.

I just finished watching one of you sermons and saw the announcement for "Cosmic Conflict". I think that it is an Amazing feat and a worthwhile project.
If the world can use movies/documentaries and such to promote worldly themes, then why can't christians use the same technology to spread the gospel?

Dear Amazing Facts family; God is truly leading the way and providing the truth. Please tell me this will also air on regular television stations. We see enough garbage like American Idol on Fox, why can't we see the the Good shows like this on regular TV. This needs to be aired three or four times over a period of about five weeks on lots of regular channels, Hbo, Dish, satalite TV, all of them...leave not one empty of the truth.... Put another way - what would you or I say if a program claiming the existance of 'Aliens' was presented as a "documentary"? Likely we would scoff. You can't 'document' something that can't be proved."

There is a right and a wrong. There is a truth and there is error. Despite the clamoring of the world for synthesis, that enables everyone to be right in their own way when one's opinion is seen through the correct perspective.
God deals with thesis and antithesis. A thing is either correct or incorrect. The WORD of GOD, although not always popular to man, has been the guide of the Cosmic Conflict DVD. Compare the Word of GOD with the scenes in this true account and one will find that the facts presented in the Cosmic Conflict are correct. Let all the other world religions be as troubled as they wish by the presentation of these facts. We are not here on this earth to make all the friends as possible, but to present the truth, in its entirety, in as relevant and as clear a form as possible. We as Seventh Day Adventists should not be apologetic for the truth but confident purveyors of the truth so that others can without fear drink deeply and be healed by it, become transformed, and live life more abundantly. To not call the Cosmic Conflict a Documentary would be a cowering compromise to preserve the feelings of our Christian neighbors. I am certain that is not GOD's will for this project.

As for the color of the angels, I imagine I will see for myself when Jesus comes to take us home. This project will touch every heart that is seeking God & with the guiding of the Holy Spirit will see exactly what God intends. The 'documentary' is the sewing of the seed of Truth, it is the job of the Holy Spirit to nurture that seed into full bloom. I say that we all pray that the ground will be fertile & that God's truth is beheld by MILLIONS!!!! Let's dig into our pocketbooks to help fuel this ministry, as we eagerly await Cosmic Conflict release. Thank you, thank you for your faithfulness Amazing Facts!!!!

Man was made a little lower than the angels. The 144,000 will replace those fallen angels, so I am thinking that since the saints will be wearing a robe of light, that the angels in heaven are wearing the same robe of light. There is so much in speaking here about the color of angels. Doesn't the Bible teach us that they travel at the speed of lightening. Aren't they bright beings, color doesn't really matter does it? Angels have a glorious light from The Father and a white robe. Ellen G. White herself also said that Adam was ruddy, so he is not exactly white white or black either or brown or yellow but ruddy is a redish appearance. My word web says this about ruddy - Inclined to a healthy reddish color often associated with outdoor life. What matter does color make anyway. God's people are going to be happy and race will not matter in heaven, color will not matter as pertaining to skin. We will have all the colors of the rainbow and I am sure many more we do not know of to make us happy and the two beings, The Father and The Son most of all.

Everyday after work i come on this website with the little hope i have to see an update. And this I have for nearly one year and a half.
My hope still did not die and I will passionly wait for the dvd to come out and show it to the youths here in the Netherlands.

As i can recal angels are neither male or female.
They do lean on the Male side though, and I believe amazingfacts had to use male angels only with same kinda of symmetry of faces. The credibility would be so much more achieved i believe.
This could turn out to be more realistic if the directors brainstormed on many subjects like these.
But who cares haha its still a mere illustration

The final events dvd was fantastic. Though it was not a monumental visual acheavment, the message was just what it needed to be. I dont mind waiting for cosmic conflict. It will be worth the wait. Thanks Amazing Facts for continuing to bring the lords message to the world.

I too am waiting for the release of Cosmic Conflict and in the meantime I suggest we pray and study the word of God and read what God says about these things through His messenger Ellen G. White. Amazing facts cannot produce the exactness of what will happen or has happened. All we can do is pray for God's leading in this project and hope that man will not allow their personal opinions or ideas to take over. This project should not be for entertainment as we have become less interested in bible study. Technology is a God given gift and should not be abused. Know the facts for yourself that you will be able to stand and defend the bible and he events to come.God bless you all.

I actually agree with this idea, in fact I find it to be a brilliant idea! Jesus used parables(stories) to illustrate truth and He did so for good reason. With this documentary it will hopefully add depth to what we already know and enhance our knowledge. Hopefully this will bring a new re-vival for the people of these last days are 'asleep' and blind to the spiritual warfare that's happening now! I would love the DVD's to be readily available in Africa because ordering can cause a ordeal for some of us :-(

well its almost summer dear friends,
Every second that goes further is a step closer to the day amazingfacts will release the cosmic conflict dvd.
As every day passes my hope grows nearer and nearer to the summer, not for the sun offcourse but for the heat of a new documentary dvd which I know despite of all things will work out on its unique fresh way.
As I write my heart shivers and moves inside of excitement which i know when this will be released.
This dvd will be a new wave of fresh illustration ready for the 21 century which will arrouse and alert people to the truth,
they will either have to accept the truth or neglect it. Offcourse as ive noticed from the other dvd final events people dont
seem to believe it because things are mentioned that arent in the bible but comes from ellen white.
And this is the tricky part or let me say the thing that some dont believe the whole package because some things arent mentioned in the bible. But as Jesus said, My sheeps will hear my voice and they will follow me.
and those who dont follow, well its very simple Jesus said you dont believe cause you arent my sheep.
So we as SDA will have a great task to xplain from the bible first the teachings that we uphold.
We shouldnt come over as if we are the right church or so but as truths that have been given to us we hold a bigger and I dont want to neglect to say this again but the SDA movement holds a bigger responsiblity then all other churches and denominations. Jesus says the more is given the more will be required. Sda needs its members to all awake from the sleep they are in and start working. This mean everyone who has laptops, who has projecters, who can draw, who have skills and talents who have money who have homes and materials and whatever you have, use it now, use it now cause over some years (not time setting) jesus will come back again and what we should avoid in heaven are the words: I wish I worked harder for God!!! So people come on lets carry and lift up our crosses which are so little of matter compared to the riches in Christ that awaits us. This world will soon end and we have a heaven to win and a hell to avoid. God bless again the amazingfacts team and all the people who were working on the project. And as its almost ready to be demonstrated lets pray for God to sent it and carry it to the corners of the world. JESUS IS COMING AGAIN

I agree with the comment made by Tsheej. The dvd hasn't even been released yet and it is already being criticized. The color of angels or what kind of swords were used is not of importance. We know that all of this is portrayed by mans' perception of the Bible because none of us have been to heaven to tell the true version. Amazing Facts has always used the Bible as the basis for all of their dvds, publications, and television broadcasts. I don't expect anything different from the Cosmic Conflict series. The time that is spent criticizing needs to be spent in prayer for those who are producing the dvd and those whose souls will be reached by it. That should be our ultimate goal- Souls for the kingdom. I truly believe that is the mission of Amazing Facts. Keep allowing God to use your ministry to glorify Him and to build His kingdom. I can't wait for the release of the dvd!

It's probably time for another news release to give a better idea of when this widely anticipated film will be released. Wondering how the progress is going on it?

I was told there is no release date because they want to make sure they get it right. I am patient with it. I want it to be right too. If God wants it out soon it will come out soon if later then He wants it out later.

One thing that holds true is that the future always becomes the past. The things we long for; strive for; and pine for always come to pass and then become forgotten memories and moments in our lives. Have patience. As sure as we all became adults after years of believing that would take an eternity to happen here today we surf and type in what was once a far off future. One day we'll all be discussing the finished dvd box set of this series, but for now we can only wait for the release to come.

I know God didnt called this planet earth, but i wonder if it was called eden, cause the garden is called the garden of eden not because it has that name but because it was planted at the east of eden, so if its at the east of eden could this world or that whole particular spot be called EDEN?

yea sarah the images are cool, i only dont like how the throne room of jesus is painted its so simple and childlike painted.
I love the ceiling art though I do imagine layers of those and on each platforms angels thousands in order going up and up till it reaches the throne chair which is encircled with the rainbow and has the cherubims next to him and seraphims at the sides to those. I am curious though if the Holy spirit and the Father and the Son share 1 seat or three seats or one devine seat who knows, got i wish they do some shots going from the orion nebulea to the holy city, I think amazingfacts should have used the same model of jerusalem they used in final events and draw and lean upon that model cause many people I know loved the way the city was animated to life since there are few images of the jerusalem.

Praise the Lord for what Amazing Facts is doing to spread the gospel. The Final Events dvd was a wonderful blessing and i know that the Cosmic Conflict will lead many to Christ. i just find it unfortunate that so many of God's professed Remnant are so quick to criticize those who are trying to reach this generation in the language and medium they speak and understand. But it should come as no surprise, though, being that God's professed people in past ages criticized and killed the messengers sent to them. We need more members like Barnabas; his name meant 'encourager.' We need to encourage all those who are willing to do God's work and spread the gospel. Too often the people criticizing what's being done are the very ones that don't do anything to spread the message. God bless you Pastor Doug and all those at Amazing Facts. The work you do has led so many to Christ, including me.
